Our Services
Physical Therapy : Life after an injury, surgery, or illness
can be painful, even while doing the simplest tasks. Our physical therapy
treatment programs are a custom-designed course to
restore maximal function, allowing patients to safely return to life's daily
activities. Our programs treat a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries
and disorders, and help restore range of movement and function, decrease pain,
reduce inflammation or swelling, and increase muscle strength and
endurance.
Hand Therapy : An injury or condition affecting the hands
can be traumatic, altering one's ability to perform daily activities and making
you feel helpless. Our hand therapy specialist provides rehabilitation
that can help manage chronic pain, decrease hypersensitivity, and reduce
inflammation or swelling.
Massage Therapy : Massage Therapy is used as a complement to physical
therapy to hasten recovery from an injury or exercise. Massage therapy
helps relieve stress and muscle tension/stiffness, provide greater joint
flexibility, reduce spasms, cramping or swelling, and promotes tissue
regeneration. Massage also increases the brain's release of endorphins,
which reduces pain, reduces heart rate, lowers blood pressure, and increases
blood circulation and lymphatic flow. It is a key part of the
rehabilitative process that aids both the body and mind during the recovery
process.
After Care : Once your prescribed course of treatment is
completed, your relationship with TRI-R Physical Therapy does not come to
an end. We encourage you to continue your personalized regimen of targeted
exercises at home to enhance your recovery, increase strength and mobility, as
well as to prevent future injury or agitation to the affected area.
Orthopedic Care : Orthopedic physical therapy aids in the
treatment of injuries or diseases affecting bones, muscles, ligaments, tendons,
joints, as well as rehabilitation after orthopedic surgery. After a full
assessment by the therapist and consultation with your referring physician and
observation of any x-rays, MRIs or other scans, a treatment plan will be
designed to treat your specific condition. Treatment focuses on strength
training, joint mobilization, and may include hot or cold compresses, ultrasound
stimulation, massage and a series of exercises designed to stretch and
strengthen the affected area.
Post Surgical : Recovering from surgery can be a slow
process. Although you may be eager to return to your regular activities as
soon as possible, you must approach your recovery with care so as not to damage
healing areas, or overuse muscles that have either been weakened or are newly
active post surgery. A proper physical therapy regimen will aid in a
quicker, healthier recovery after surgery.
